This is what public education can look like…
The External Affairs office at Mission Hill School serves as a link between the school and community resources. Over the years, MHS has developed deep relationships with a number of organizations and individuals. These partnerships enhance the life of the school and offer support and enrichment to children, families, and staff. The work of this office may be seen in school communications, visits, recruitment, community partnerships, the Apprentice Learning program, and fundraising.
As a national demonstration site for small successful urban schools, MHS is host to over 200 visitors each year. The school also offers a rich learning environment for student teachers, maintaining partnerships with several area schools of education. Volunteers from area organizations work directly with students, both in and outside of classrooms.
